How to Get Property Visa in Dubai
Property visa is a type of visa which UAE expatriates property holders can get on the basis of their property. For this kind of visa, you can sponsor yourself for three years in Dubai. This visa needs to be processed from Land Department.
Property Visa Requirements:
There are certain requirements for getting this visa.
- The property value must be more than One million dirhams.
- For multiple owners of the property, individual owner needs to have more than one million dirham share in the property.
- Visa for mortgage property is only allowed if mortgage value paid is more than one million dirhams. There is a requirement of no objection certificate/letter from bank showing all the details of the mortgage.
- If property is owned by husband and wife together, they need to provide attested marriage certificate. In that case, husband and wife will be considered as single owner and they don’t need to hold one million dirhams share individually.
First, Land department will proceed for the initial security approval of the property holder. After getting the approval they will issue the Dubai Economic Department license with Special Purpose License activity. On the basis of that license they will provide the visa.
After the visa issuance, you need to go for medical, do the bio-metrics registration for Emirates ID and provide insurance which is a mandatory requirement from Dubai Immigration to complete the visa stamping process. You can also get the visa if you are not in country, but you need to provide power of attorney to anyone to process visa on your behalf. Sponsoring your family / dependents is also possible under this category once your visa process is completed.
